7:00pm Supervisor McKenna called the meeting to order. The press was represented by Bill Kemble,
Nick Henderson and Felicia Katchik.

Business Meeting of the Town Board will be held on August 24, 2021.
PRESENTATIONS:

Saugerties
Animal Shelter Presentation of Plans and Designs for New Shelter: There were 4
employees who presented the diagrams and new location of the proposed new
buildings for the shelter. They are
looking for donations to ‘make it happen” and it will be a NFP under the
Saugerties Welfare Fund (started by Marie Post). The information is attached. The Shelter phone # Is 679-0339.

Drinking Water Map – Aquifer Protection Law:

Ken
Panza presented the Drinking Water Protection Map and it was discussed whether
it should be sent to the County since there are issues to be resolved regarding
the “sewer” system and “wells.” There
will be further discussion and a copy of the map was presented to the Board. Laura
Ricci distributed the Steve Winkley Wellhead Protection Overlay District map.

to authorize the supervisor to engage the services of Kyle Barnett of
VanDeWater and VanDeWater LLC to assist the Assessor with legal actions against
the Tow of Woodstock in regards to property assessments.

Shapiro - Thanks the Town Board for the decision of denial from the Planning
Board
To
Crown Castle.
Felicia
Katchik – please return Public Be Heard to the beginning of the meeting instead
of the end.
General
discussion followed regarding “Fire House Meeting” about the Comeau bond issue
and having the Board present the model to the public at these meetings. There was a positive attitude regarding the
method.
At
8:45 Supervisor McKenna made a motion to adjourn to go into “Executive Session”
regarding the employment history of an employee. All Voted aye – 4-0.
There
was no decision made and the session ended by 9:00 with the Town Board members
leaving without a formal adjournment of the meeting or a second.
