BUSINESS:
-Chris
Layman bee keeper, Lisa will let him know that the insurance committee felt it
was not a good idea to place bee hives at the Comeau
-Monitoring
Walk by Grace and Jeff was on Monday 5/20, we are happy to report that 5/5 dogs
on leash, yeah. Trails in poor shape,
lawns in poor shape but now mown in last week, late due to wet spring.
-Trail
Maintenance- Discussed earlier advice to place a line item in the town budget. Our earlier agreement to have a maintenance
person walk and repair every other week may have continued but it appears to
not have been as effective as hoped. Discussed
the pool of recreation money that had been used in previous years and shared by
soccer and used for trails during time of Dave Corbett from subdivisions,
organizer for volunteers
NEW
BUSINESS:
-Lisa
offered to do the minutes going forward, JV will finish this months and get out
prior to the next meeting.
-Lisa
also offered to put together a presentation for the Town Board on the state and
future of the trails. Jeff will help and
ask for a slot on the agenda this coming week or the one after. Jeff will also ask Bill if he could walk the
trails prior to our next meeting.
