Minutes of Regular Meeting

                                                                               August 19, 2013

The regular meeting of the Commission for Civic design was called to order by Chairperson

David Ekroth at 6:12 pm.

Present: David Ekroth, Hera, Cornelia Rosenblum, Joan Elliott           

            Applicant: Architects/Rep. for Ulster Savings Bank, Dehaan & Degraw: Chris Dehaan and Jeff Degraw

            A quorum was present, the Agenda adopted and minutes from 4/16/13 and 5/13/13, adopted.

Business:

             Case# 13-04 Ulster Savings Bank, 68 Mill Hill Rd.

            All points were met on application.

            CCD reviewed the plans and views.  Discussed removal of Aluminum siding to expose

                        wood clapboard siding to be refurbished repaired and painted.  Colors were reviewed and                                     approved.  Also discussed was exterior lighting as required by law, railings

                        and door paint color.

Case Reviews-Pending:

            Holy Ascension Monastery, Cold Brook Road, continual design review

            Landau Grill on Mill Hill Road, front porch renovations

            Bread Alone, Mill Hill Road: possible 2^nd story addition

            Expansion of  Yum Yum Noodles on Rock City- maybe no exterior changes.
